food

To help cultivate a healthy earth we need to be cultivating healthy people. How we can do that is by eating certified organic foods. Often times people make the argument of the high price of organic foods, but you are able to save a lot of money when you cultivate your own garden. You have the opportunity to have these goods foods available to you when you are growing them in your own backyard. At school it's harder to have your own garden so you can try growing herbs and other small plants an your windowsill. Another way to get access to healthy organic produce here at USU is at the Student Organic Farm. Students are able to volunteer and purchase the food they grow! By eating sustainably we are promoting the earth's biodiversity as well as the abundance of different species by 30% (Tuck,, and et al.).
